and the article was cool till they had to bring up politics. Then you
realize he's become the typical Hollywood Lib.

Oh, well fuck him then.
Woot! Beat me to it.
haha. I still like his work but this is why I don't care to know personal
details about celebrities. Why they feel a need to even bring up shit
like that is beyond me. It's like the interviewers and the actors are all
nodding their heads in unison like lemmings.
I know. I get sick of it.
Thing is, I'm perfectly OK with people having a different opinion from
mine. They are welcome to them. However, they are also welcome to keep
them to themselves. When I go to the store I don't solicit the political
philosophy of the person stocking the shelves or checking out my items.
I just want them to do what they're getting paid to do. Likewise with
the Hollyweird types: you are paid very, very well to entertain me:
don't fuck it up by inserting your personal beliefs into the mix. You
and your pals can talk about it among yourselves in the echo chamber you
all live in where everyone apparently agrees with each other and walk
away feeling good about yourselves for supporting the same "causes".
When an interviewer asks you about it tell them that you're there to
discuss your new show/movie/CD/etc. But I guess that won't ever work
because they would lose the chance to feel like they "matter", which
when you spend your life pretending to be fictitious characters is
apparently a big deal in one's self esteem. They should have a real job
where they can KNOW they're insignificant and not have to wonder.
